Do I Really Need a Lawyer?

The answer to this question depends mostly on the size of the bodily injury part of your case.  If the police accident report and other liability evidence is favorable most people can handle the property damage part of the claim without a lawyer. In cases involving injuries that are minor and temporary the insurance representative will offer your lawyer not a whole lot more than he or she will offer you without a lawyer.  But if your claim arises from wrongful death or injuries are major and permanent you should at least consult with a good personal injury lawyer promptly, before negotiating the injury settlement or providing too much information to the claims representative.
